1. Who provides this software

My PC Doctor is developed and provided by Biz Brain AI ("we", "us"). It is distributed through computer dealers, PC builders and service centres in India, and also directly from this website. Where a shop has registered your PC, that shop is your point of contact for support and for renewals; we do not sell support directly to the customers of a registered shop.

2. What the software is, and is not

This matters more than anything else in these terms, so it is second rather than buried:

• It is an on-demand PC health and diagnostic assistant for Windows 10 and Windows 11. It reads what Windows and your hardware already report, explains it, and helps you act on it.
• It is not an antivirus. It has no scanning engine of its own and does not replace Microsoft Defender or any security product you have installed.
• Its security features read and manage the protection Windows already has. Where it can start a scan, the scan is Microsoft Defender’s own.
• It does not run in the background. There is no real-time monitoring, no tray icon and no automatic action.
• Nothing on your PC is changed unless you press the control that changes it, and changes that need Windows’ permission go through Windows’ own prompt. Declining changes nothing.
• No feature of it permanently deletes one of your files.

3. Your licence

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the software on the PC it was registered to, for as long as that PC’s licence is current. You may not resell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute the software, or distribute a modified installer. Dealers and service centres who wish to distribute it do so under a separate dealer arrangement.

4. The free year, and renewals

How the licence period actually works:

• Every install includes a free year, counted from the day the PC is registered — not from the day it was bought and not from the day it was installed.
• Every feature is available during that year. There is no reduced free tier.
• Verifying your mobile number once grants a verified licence of 365 days. It does not stack — verifying again does not add another year.
• Renewal after the first year is arranged through the shop your PC is registered to. The application never shows you a payment link, and we do not take payment from you inside it.
• If a licence lapses, nothing you already have is deleted. The application becomes read-only and opens on a renewal screen; your PC’s history and reports remain.
• An offline install with no shop registration has no shop to renew through. That is a consequence of how registration works, not a fault.

5. What we do not promise

Stated plainly rather than in capital letters:

• We do not promise that the software will find every problem with your PC. It reports what can be read. Where something cannot be determined, it says so rather than guessing — that is a design decision, and it means some faults will not be visible to it.
• We do not promise that acting on a finding will make your PC faster, and we make no frame-rate, speed or percentage-improvement claims anywhere.
• We do not promise that your PC will not be infected, attacked or damaged. The security features help you see and manage the protection Windows provides; they are not a guarantee against anything.
• The software is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

6. Your responsibility for what you decide

The software gives you information and, where you ask for it, carries out a change through Windows. The decision is yours. Before acting on a finding that involves deleting files, changing a Windows setting or replacing hardware, keep a backup of anything you cannot afford to lose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data, or for loss of profit or business arising from your use of the software. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. Your data

What the software reads and what leaves your PC is set out in full in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: the check runs on your PC, no file contents are ever read, and no documents, photos, browsing history or passwords are collected. Where your PC is registered to a shop, the diagnostic summary and the PC’s configuration sync to that shop’s console so they can support the machine they sold you.

8. The installer and the publisher warning

The installer published on this site is the file we built, and its SHA-256 checksum is published beside it so you can verify that for yourself. This build is not yet code-signed, so Windows will show an unrecognised-publisher warning. We will not tell you that clicking past a Windows security warning is a routine thing to do; verify the checksum, or have your computer shop install it. Only install the software from this website or from a shop you deal with.

9. Updates

The application checks for updates only when you press the button that checks. It never downloads or installs anything on its own and never checks on a timer. New versions may change, add or remove features; the release notes on the download page record what changed in each one.

10. Ending the licence

You may stop using the software at any time by uninstalling it, which removes it and anything it scheduled. We may end a licence if the software is redistributed, resold or modified in breach of these terms, or where it is used to attempt something the product explicitly does not do. If we do, we will say why.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top says when they were last updated, and the change is published here. If a change materially reduces what you get, it applies from your next renewal rather than immediately.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions about them, or about a licence, go to support@bb-ai.in. If your PC is registered to a computer shop, that shop is your first point of contact for anything about the PC itself — they have its history.
